I buy shirts on the internet.

Once Shirt.Woot started shipping to Canada I knew it was only a matter of time.  And now tha t I’ve started I’ve already bought 5.  This can’t be healthy.  But in my defence, I’m not just getting them from Shirt.Woot.

I stumbled across Shirts on Sale because the Shirt.Woot website is damn hard to understand I couldn’t tell what was actually for sale.  And from there they’ve linked to a bunch of other cool T-shirt vendors out there.

Here’s what I picked up so far:

Inspired by Apocalypse Now.

Calypso Weapon - Inspired by Apocalypse Now.

and

Moloko Plus - Inspired by A Clockwork Orange

Moloko Plus - Inspired by A Clockwork Orange

How could I turn down shirts based off of those movies?

Next, there was, from Uneetee:

Stardust

Stardust

Everyday one of their shirts goes for $10.  I’m patient enough to wait for what I want.

Next, from TeeFury, which doesn’t list it’s history but the Dead Bird Blog does came this one:

Carbon Butterfly

Carbon Butterfly

I of course, only have the gray shirt.  But I actually would have preferred the option of brown.

And the last from Uneetee again is:

G'Night - *Glows in the Dark!*

G'Night

Another $10 daily shirt.  I couldn’t turn it down, it glows in the dark!!!  Should be coming in the mail any day week now.  (Shipping to Canada is a pain.)

I wonder how many more I’m going to end up getting?  I just like the idea of buying stuff where money goes to the actual designer plus it’s not another shirt/sweater/etc that says Nike or Adidas or whatever….

Rhinestone Cowboy

I don’t know how well it would have translated into a t-shirt, but the Night Ride entry on a recent derby was stunning.

This is the sort of thing I want to see large, like taking up an entire wall.
